About Me

I learned the basics of operating my first PC at ~3 years old, in 1995-96. My parents gave me several CDs and floppy disks with games and game demos, both educational and for entertainment, to try out. Raptor: Call of the Shadows (1994) was my first ever videogame.

Through those first few years, I experienced an incredible diversity of worlds and ideas that most wouldn't until they were well into elementary school. I absorbed so much information about astronomy from those games that, by 4th grade, I was correcting my own teacher in the classroom. â€‹I would go on to enjoy countless other works of interactive art over the years which had profound effects on my ability to make friends, visualize 3d space, and so much more. I really owe so much to them.

And so, after exploring literature and digital media throughout my undergraduate and graduate programs at UF and UCF FIEA respectively, I resolved that I wanted to give back to the community that I was a part of, to contribute the kind of meaning to others that games had given me, through games themselves.

I've had the honor and privilege to work on groundbreaking educational games for 10 years at Immersed Games, such as Tyto: Ecology and Tyto Online. During that time, I've honed my skills in software development, UI/UX design, and production management in order to enable my team to push the medium forward and inspire the gamers of tomorrow to learn and follow their own dreams.

Let's create something special together!
